- └────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┘
-
- ZeroRego is a user registration door for any Remote Access 2.0x system.
- It can automatically update the user database, and store any answers to
- a separate file.
-
- It is a more graphical way of asking new users for their information,
- and alows for visiting sysops.
-
- Best of all, it is FREE!

- └────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┘
-
- Well, ZeroRego 2.0ß is a complete re-write of version 1.02. There were
- too many bugs in 1.02, bugs that I could not track down, so I decided
- to start fresh.
-
- NEW - Configuration utility
- NEW - User Interface
- NEW - More flexible than before
- NEW - Registration key system (thanks to John Stephenson. Thanks John!)

- │░░░▒▒▒▓▓▓ Installation ▓▓▓▒▒▒░░░│
- └────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┘
-
- Ok, here's what you have to do to install ZeroRego.
-
- 1. Make a directory for ZeroRego - usually something like C:\RA\ZREGO will
- do.
- 2. Copy the archive into that directory, and then unarchive it. You can
- erase the archive if you no longer have any use for it after it has
- been decompressed.
- 3. Make sure that the file ZREGO.BAT is ok (use a text editor), and then
- copy the file to your Remote Access directory. This is normally C:\RA.
- Remote Access will call this batch file from it's menu.
- 4. Run CONFIG.EXE to set up ZeroRego for your system. Make sure everything
- is ok. For further help on the configuration program, see the next
- chapter, where it is explained in detail.
- 5. Put an entry into your TOP menu in Remote Access Config. You can run
- the menu editor by typing RACONFIG -M in your Remote Access directory.
- The entry you have to add should be put in the first position of the
- TOP menu.
-
- The entry has to be :
-
- - A Type 7 Exit
- - Run Automatically
- - Data line : *C /C ZREGO.BAT *M
- - Security Minimum set to your NEW USER security level!
- - Security Maximum set to your NEW USER security level!
-
-
- That's it! (phew!)
